Prototype of the Chassis for a B&C ME464 HF-Horn with their DCX464 Coaxial Compression Driver. The Housing also includes room for the Bandpass Filter PCB.
The Chassis can be tilted and has a hinged plate to strap it to another Chassis below.
I used a 3D-CAD System for the Design, a 2,5D-CAM Software to prepare the Files for the Portal Milling Machine. The Material is 15 mm Birch Plywood.
A Prototype made of Birch Plywood to round the Edges from Balance Boards. It is attached on a Workbench for best and easy handling. There is an Vacuum Channel integrated, the Cap is changable to try different Shapes and has a 43 mm Euronorm Holding Fixture for a AMB Router.

Custom HF Horn with Elliptical Tractrix Design for 1,4 inch Compression Driver. Audio Measurements were done and approved the Design for an excellent Sound Quality.
Tractrix Curve was designed in 2D and imported. 3D-CAD was used for the Remaining Design and one of MotionLab.Berlins 3D FDM-Printer was used for Producing the Parts.

The Pieces are made from anodised Aluminium Panels and Acrylic Glass. Produced through the Schaffer AG Manufacturing Process.
